4th Annual Conference on HIV/AIDS and Hep C: Impacts on Individuals, Families and Communities

  • Centre St. Pierre 1212 Rue Panet Montréal, QC, H2L 2Y7 Canada (map)

The Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal in partnership with the Coalition des organismes communautaires québécois de lutte contre le sida (COCQ-SIDA) is pleased to announce the launch of the 4th Annual Conference on HIV/AIDS and Hep C: Impacts on Individuals, Families and Communities. This free community event will bring attention to the impacts that HIV/AIDS, Hep C and co-infections have on diverse populations, including Aboriginal people, people in prisons, and immigrants, and will highlight some of the important prevention and education programs in the community that are helping to promote health and reduce HIV-related stigma and discrimination.

This 2-day conference will be an important opportunity for service providers, health care practitioners and community members to come together to share best practices and to create dialogue around ways to address and respond to issues surrounding this preventable disease.
